20 pts
2. Characterize life in the first century Roman Empire as it would have been experienced by the people of Galilee.
10 pts
3. For EACH (EVERY) book of the New Testament, identify a passage that you found to be noteworthy. Perhaps something you had forgotten about or one that you viewed differently as you read it. Perhaps one that unsettled you in some way. List the passage and comment (2 to 5 sentences) as to why it was noteworthy to you.
Example:
John 3:16-17: I've read this a million times, but when reading it this time, I noticed in the Greek that "perish" was in the reflexive tense--thus suggesting that people who do not believe cause themselves to perish. This really struck me.
20 pts
4. One goal for this class was to create a strong sense of awe to the New Testament (and Bible in total). With that in mind:

-- B. If you were teaching New Testament to others, what could you do (like or different from class) to get people excited by the biblical texts?
