Fall 2008 Blitz: Introduction to Sociology
Requirements of the Course:
1. Students will complete all required reading for each class, and they will be prepared to discuss material with instructor and classmates. Active participation in class discussion and any activity pertaining to the disciplines is a must.
2. Students will demonstrate mastery of the language of sociology.
3. Students will write reaction papers to two assigned readings.
4. Students will present to the class a report of their experiences
5. Final Exam: Students will complete an objective exam, then write (using all class materials, any resources they may wish to bring, and the Internet) answers to discussion questions integrating the ideas of the course into a learning exercise.
6. All assignments will be emailed to bsnodgrass@visibleschool.com in electronic form, either Word@ or Pages@ format.
